Solenn Honorine is a seasoned commnications consultant and trainer with two decades of experience in international journalism and strategic communication. She started her journalist career reporting on the 2004 tsunami, and for ten years covered feature stories and breaking news in Thailand, Indonesia and South Africa. Her work appeared in French and American media outlets such as RFI, Newsweek, Le Figaro, France 24, Voice of America and others.

Since 2014 Solenn has provided strategic and crisis communication advice for various international organisations working in the sectors of aid and development, climate and global health. She worked for six years in direct contact with field operations for Doctors Without Borders, including in war zones and during acute crises. This experience inspired her first novel, La Route de Wakale, published in 2025.

As the Europe director for strategic communications in the European Climate Foundation, she led a team spread across 11 European countries specialised in shaping and pushing narratives in favor of climate action.

She is the author of six TV documentaries, two non-fiction books, published in French: Indonésie – histoire, société, culture et Mandela à 20 ans.
