Merícia is Managing Director of Clear Europe and one of the company’s lead trainers on social media and digital communication. She is also a paid media specialist, with over 6 years’ experience supporting clients from various industries, leveraging their digital presence to deliver impactful communications campaigns.

Merícia began her career in Portugal as a Brand Manager at a Digital Marketing Training & Consultancy, playing a key role in establishing the company. During those three years, she worked on communication campaigns across various digital channels. She also managed B2B clients seeking to deepen their expertise in digital marketing, delivered targeted advice on their online presence, organised courses and provided training support.

She later joined Weber Shandwick (now Omnicom) in Brussels as Digital Manager, leading integrated communication and digital campaigns for pan-European clients across multiple sectors. During her 4.5 years at Weber Shandwick, she worked with clients in the energy, sustainability, packaging, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors on integrated policy, communication and digital campaigns to deliver targeted messages to audiences. She has also managed over half a million euros in paid media advertising across channels such as Meta, LinkedIn and Google.

At the end of 2024, Merícia decided to become an independent consultant focusing on digital communication, social media and content production. She joined Clear Europe in early 2025 to help shape the next chapter of the company’s story. She is also a trainer in topics related to social media, content creation and digital advertising.

Merícia holds a degree in Media Studies and a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Lisbon.
