Did you know that employers and employees can benefit from financial support and subsidies for training courses? If you are based in Belgium, there are two ways of slashing the cost of your training with us. Cefora offers subsidies for both employers and employees, while the Small Business Act reimburses up to 50% of the cost of training for small and medium-sized firms in the Brussels-Capital region.

Make sure you meet the general conditions to apply and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the coaching options we offer and ways we can help you reduce the costs of your training.

2. Brussels-Capital Region and the Small Business Act

The Brussels-Capital Region supports entrepreneurs by promoting training via the Small Business Act action plan. Whether you are an employer, self-employed or a start-up, you can apply for specific subsidies such as the training fund service vouchers (documents only in French and Dutch) that reimburse up to 50% of the training cost!

The procedure: general conditions to apply

Two criteria are taken into account: your main activity and the size of your enterprise.

To apply for the scheme, make sure your main activity meets the required conditions covered by the scheme. Some areas covered are the following: training, external consultants (audits, one-off projects), exports, investment, hiring for specific projects. The entire list is available here (only in French and Dutch).

If your company contributes to the social economy, you can apply for a specific support scheme here (in French and Dutch). The Brussels-Capital Region also subsidises projects supporting Brussels’ economy and employment. Follow the link ‘call for projects’.

The size of your company is another requirement to meet to apply for grants and subsidies. How can you define the size of your enterprise? Refer to this link.
